GENERAL INFORMATION FOR GOLF SOCIETIES
RESERVATIONS
Society visits are accommodated from Monday to Friday inclusive. Reservations are confirmed when the club has received the completed application form, menu requirements and a deposit of £5.00 per head.
NUMBERS OF SOCIETY MEMBERS
The minimum booking is for 12 people. Cancellation within four weeks of the booked date will result in loss of deposit. Please notify final numbers to the Admin Office 48 hours prior to the date of the Society. This will be the minimum number charged for.
DRESS IN THE CLUB HOUSE
Smart casual. Jeans are allowed in the Clubhouse only.
DRESS ON THE GOLF COURSE
Golf shoes must be worn. DENIM JEANS, T-SHIRTS AND SWEAT SHIRTS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. Shorts must be tailored and can be worn with sports socks. Shirts may not be removed whilst on the course or its surrounding areas.
GOLF ETIQUETTE
All members of the Society must have a Handicap and be fully aware of golf etiquette. Particular attention should be given to raking bunkers, repairing pitch marks and avoiding slow play. Society members must also abide by the Club’s Rules and Regulations when so advised.
TEE OF THE DAY WILL BE YELLOW.
TROLLEYS.
Personal trolleys may be used, unless the course is too wet.
Hire trolleys are available from the Pro-Shop. There are also buggies for hire.
PRIZES
Prizes and golfing equipment may be purchased from our Professional Shop, whose prices will prove to be very competitive.
ACCOUNTS
Payment of the invoice must be settled on the day with the Office before play.
COURTESY OF THE COURSE
We are pleased to offer the Courtesy of the course to serving Golf Club Captains and Club Secretaries playing in Society meetings, but this must be notified beforehand.
