Rules & Etiquette

It is each players responsibility to be aware of the rules of golf and to read the notice boards and starting sheets.

Slow Play

Please keep up with the game in front. Remember the speed of the slowest game governs the speed of play for the whole course.

Dress Code

Players must be aware of the dress code displayed in the professional shop and on the club notice boards. Golf shoes must be worn. Shirts must have collars. Beach wear, track suits, and denim are explicitly excluded

Course Care

Please replace divots, repair pitch marks and rake bunkers. Trolleys must not be taken onto Tees or within the protection lines around each green.

Health & Safety

It is the responsibility of every golfer to be aware of the safety of themselves and others on the golf course. Do not drive off until the players in front are clear. Be aware of Greenkeeping staff working on the course. Give way signs on the course must be observed. Care should be taken at all times walking on uneven ground and in wet conditions.

Fog on the Course

Players must not tee off if the yellow/ green marker posts on the first hole are not visible from the veranda. The course will be closed and all booked tee times deferred.


Every golfer on the course should have adequate third party liability insurance. Personal possessions are not insured by the golf club.
